Pearl Deaton Hunter, age 93, of Crossett, AR passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehabilitation.  She was born on November 16, 1921 to her parents, Edward and Mary Louisa Bunn Deaton.  Mrs. Hunter was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where she taught children’s Sunday school.  She was a volunteer grandparent for Crossett Schools.  Pearl was the youngest of 9 children, all of whom have preceded her in death, as well as her parents and her husband, Clifford C. Hunter.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Helen Deaton of El Dorado, AR and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
