Shirley Travis, age 92, of Crossett, AR passed away on February 17, 2015 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born on May 28, 1922 in Hamburg, AR to her parents, Joseph Riley and Seleta Mae Holt Weatherly. Mrs. Travis was an LPN. She was a Christian and loved cooking. Mrs. Travis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Travis; two brothers, James Weatherly, J.R. Weatherly and a sister, Myra Travis.

Survivors include one son, Tom Travis of Dallas, TX; two granddaughters, Leighann Travis, Debbie King, both of Dallas, TX; four great-grandchildren; nephews, David Weatherly, Mack Weatherly, Jeff Weatherly, Dickie Weatherly, Jerry Weatherly, Robert Weatherly, Steve Travis and two nieces, Beth Seabourne, Lynn Weatherly.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Causey Cemetery with Father George Hart officiating under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)
