I have always admired and respected Sonny. And He left a great legacy in Dr. Hagood and his family. The city of Strong is blessed to be the home of the Hagood family and Hagood Ford Motor Co. Rest is peace.

What a pleasure and how fortunate it was for me to have known Sonny over the years! His smile and friendly manner was always inside him when we would visit. My dad always enjoyed seeing and working with him on the local bank boards and valued his input. He will be missed but not forgotten and may the Lord give you strength in the days ahead.

Betty and family. I have such wonderful memories of Sonny growing up. He always had a smile on his face and welcomed everyone. He always gave Kay Baby a big hug. Just to say he was a good man is not nearly tribute enough. Anyone who followed in his footsteps were destined to be a better, caring person. May the many wonderful memories of him bring you comfort. You will see him again, you know.

Dear Betty, my cousin Doug Lewis called me and informed me about the passing of Sonny. We are so sorry for your loss. We know how precious Sonny was to you. I told my daughter the story of when Rab and I had you and Sonny over for dinner and we served frog legs. Your reaction when you found out it wasn't chicken was priceless! So sorry to learn of Noland's death. He was such a good friend to many people. I will never forget how much he helped me when I had car trouble in Strong when I was taking my very sick mother to Eldorado. He loaned me a car to drive while they fixed mine and I was able to get her to the hospital. I know he has many stars in his crown. RIP Sonny
