Louise Evelyn Williams White, age 91, of Crossett, AR passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehabilitation.  She was born August 17, 1923 in McGehee, AR, to her parents, James Madison and Maude V. Hill Williams.  She was a dietary cook and retired from Ashley County Medical Center after 50 years of service.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.  Mrs. White was a member of Meridian Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. White; a son, William T. White and two sons-in-law, Doug Steen and Mike Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Herman O. White (Sheila) and James D. White (Ann); two daughters, Wanda Steen and Sue Johnson, all of Crossett, AR; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10: 00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Meridian Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Lick Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)           

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Meridian Baptist Church, 4593 Ashley 703, Crossett, AR from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
