I'm Kenny's daughter. I never met my uncle Harold Dean, but I wanted to express my sympathies. And also say thank you for including my dad. I've heard a lot about uncle Harold Dean and always wanted to make it down that way to meet the rest of my family.

My heart felt prayers go out to each family member. I remember as a little girl visiting with his parents ( my great-Aunt and Uncle) how much joy was always there. I know he is now rejoicing with my Daddy (Robert) and many others. They always were carrying on. He was a kind man and always smiling when I would see him. I wll remember you in prayers.

Bro. Harold Dean was a good man. He always encouraged me while I was in Crossett. As much as a man he was, he had a tender spot concerning his relationship with Christ, he never forgot where he came from, and what God brought him through, he was a giver, constantly stopping by and bringing us food from the garden and some hot peppers. What I loved most about Harold Dean was every sermon he heard he would say"that was for me preacher". He was still being transformed by the word of God, and enjoyed it. Ruth Ann and Bonnete family, our hearts are heavy over your loss, and while hearts broken here, he is in the presence of God Almighty, rejoicing with the Angels in heaven. What an awesome day that will be!
God Bless

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Harold Bonnette. I always enjoyed visiting with him from time to time on the job. We had a lot of common interests in our upbringing, etc, and we often talked about our being almost the same age. He was a dedicated and loyal railroader and an excellent engineer on the trains that rolled over the roller coaster grades of the Ashley Drew & Northern Railway Company. While many railroads with grades even lesser than the AD&N had train pull aparts, he never did, and always brought the train he was in charge of back to the yards and station in good condition. He impressed me as a faithful Christian man and one who loved and cared for his family. Although I did not get to see him after our respective retirements when I moved to Little Rock, I did think of him from time to time. My sympathy goes out to all of his family, especially to Mrs. Ruth. I hope that the sadness you may feel at his absence will soon be replaced by fond memories of the good days and that you rest assured that he is in the loving care of his Heavenly Father. May God Bless You all. Russell Tedder.

We are so sorry to hear about Bro. Harold Dean. Prayers go out to the family of this kind and generous man. He was one of a kind. He always brought us fresh vegetables every summer while being his Pastor and wife for almost 6 years. We were always invited to have those magnificent BLT's he made when the tomatoes became ripe. Such a precious soul. May he rest in peace in the presence of our loving Lord.
