William Carol Pippen

William Carol Pippen, age 83 and lifelong resident of Crossett, AR, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.  He was born on November 4, 1936 to Lonnie and Lodell Rice Pippen.  He has served as president of the Crossett Bass Club and worked raising funds for many charities.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  William worked farming and construction, retiring from Ideal Construction Company.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 53 years, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Pippen; one son, William Jeffery Pippen and two brothers, Raymond and Donald Pippen.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Terry Pippen (Sarah) of Crossett, AR, Taresia Kenly (Eric) of Antioch, LA and Missy Mendenhall (Jamey) of Broomfield, CO; seven grandchildren, Eric Pippen, Lindsey Gregory, Amy Pippen, Elizabeth Rainey, Ben Rainey, McKenna Mendenhall, Bailey Carol Mendenhall and a host of friends and loved ones.

Graveside services are held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Kenneth Watt officiating.  Pallbearers are Hardy Sawyer, Billy Streeter, Ben Rainey, Lonnie Pippen, Jerry Brumley and Eric Pippen.  Visitation is at Jones Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
