Velma Ruth (Frisby) Miller

Velma Ruth Miller, age 84, of Crossett, AR passed away on December 7, 2023. She was born on March 16, 1939 in Strong, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents; her father, Enoch Ezekiel Frisby; her mother, Velma Lee Perry Frisby and her husband of 59 years; Rev Charles Raymond Miller. Before her retirement, Mrs. Miller was a manager of the cafeteria for the Crossett School District. She enjoyed and loved sewing, embroidering and making quilts along with fishing, but only with a cane pole. She was proud to not only be the daughter of a minister, but a wife to a minister of 58 years as well.

Survivors include: a son, Enoch Miller; a daughter, Melinda Miller; Granddaughters, Nicole Posey (Lee), Dawn Cross (Steven); Grandson, Enoch Andrew Miller; Greatgrandchildren, John Alexander, William Alexander and Kayleigh Posey

Honoring her memory by serving as Pallbearers are Phillip Wisecarver, Lee Posey, Steven Cross, Robert Fletcher, William Browning and Andrew Miller. Honorary Pallbearers include Glen Fletcher and Wesley Alexander.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lacey Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.
