Sylvia Jean Walker-Buchler

Sylvia Jean Walker-Buchler, age 70 of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on July 31, 2020.  She was born on January 11, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to her mother, Reba Merglewski.    She was the sales manager at KAGH for over 20 years before she retired.  During that time, she was a Crossett Chamber member and  Hamburg Rotary member, serving as president at one point.    She loved to garden, crafting, being outdoors and camping.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family and being with loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cindy Segler; grandmother, Elizabeth Walker and two great grandchildren, Liam and Eli Osiecki.

Sylvia has left to cherish her memory is her husband of 30 years, George Buchler; four sons, Richard Osiecki (Jenna) of Alamogordo, NM, George Buchler, II (Amanda) of Monroe, LA,  Michael Buchler (Brandi) of Hamburg, AR and Mickey Buchler of Hamburg, AR; one daughter; Amanda Kelley (Josh) of Gloster, LA; son-in-law, Jim Segler of Rice, MN; one sister, Laura Podczervinski of Otisville, MI; twelve grandchildren, Amber Segler, Richard Osiecki, Reese Osiecki, Alexis Oliver, Shelby Buchler, Jenna Kate Buchler, Caleb Kelley, Isabel Oliver, Bryson Buchler, Elizabeth Kelley, Sterling Zolman and Wyatt Zolman; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services are 2:00PM on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Carlock Cemetery in Hamburg, AR with Rev. Bob Davis officiating.  Pallbearers are Jim Segler, Richard Osiecki, Josh Kelley, George Buchler, Michael Buchler, Mickey Buchler, Caleb Kelley and Bryson Buchler.  Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on August 6, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home.
