Sherril Lynn Dixon

Sherril Lynn Dixon, age 62 of Crossett, AR passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020.  She was born on September 21, 1957 to Virgil and Lois Johnston.  She was a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church, a homemaker and fifty plus year leukemia survivor of St. Judes.  She was a member of Crossroads Good Neighbor Club and Friends of Felsenthal.  Sherril was an avid bird watcher.  She loved flowers and tending to her flower beds.  Sherril was very craft oriented.  She prided herself in her plastic canvas crafts and handcrafted Christmas ornaments that she loved to share with others.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Her family was the spark in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Van and Annie Lois Linzy Johnston and one sister, Vanessa Law.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Carol Myers (Murry) of Crossett; three granddaughters, Candy, Haley and Lyndsy; two sisters, Cathy Bardin and Michelle Johnston; two stepbrothers, Billy Noble and Lynn Noble; her stepmother, Pat Johnston; a special friend, Tom Arrn; a special niece, Lisa Guin and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services are 2:00pm on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Carlock Cemetery with Bro. Robin Allen officiating.  Visitation is one hour prior at Jones Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
