Rosemary Antoinette Alexander LaFoon, age 79, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born on October 4, 1940 in Dermott, Arkansas to William Herbert and Faye Kidd Harden Alexander. She was a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church. Rosemary enjoyed reading, working in her home and yard, shopping and antiquing. She left with her loved ones, many memories of fishing and spending time together.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Remley Schiff and Don Alexander.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years, Bill LaFoon; one son, Billy T. LaFoon, Jr. (Julie); of Morrilton, AR and Nicole LaFoon Chisholm (Michael) of Crossett, AR; four siblings, Sue Powell of Dodge City, KS, Linda Isaac of Meade, KS, Bill Alexander of Cache, OK and Bettye Young of Dodge City, KS; five grandchildren, Benjamin LaFoon (Rochelle) of North Little Rock, AR, Wesley LaFoon (Candace) of Warren, AR, Rosalind Ross (J.C.) of Crossett, AR, Sarah Copeland (Wesley) of Monroe, LA and Emily Moffatt (Rob) of Crossett, AR; nine great grandchildren, Amelia, Peyton, Samuel and Ruth LaFoon, Jackson and William Ross and Violet and Lydia Copeland and Finley Moffatt along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM on Saturday, March 7th at North Crossett First Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Allen officiating. Interment is in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Ben LaFoon, Wesley LaFoon, J.C. Ross, Wesley Copeland, Rob Moffatt, Edward Nugent, Buddy Kinney and Jason Keen.
Visitation is at North Crossett First Baptist Church from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, March 6th.
