Robert Thomas Stell

Robert Thomas Stell, age 78, of Crossett, Arkansas passed away on February 1, 2023.  He was born on November 4, 1944 to  Robert Zimrie and Natoma Gilbert Stell in Crossett.  He was a member of Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church where he was a devoted Sunday school teacher.  Robert served his country in the United States Air Force as a medic.  He retired from Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, Nebraska as an inspector.

Robert loved God, his family, his country and his church.  He enjoyed spending his time studying his Bible, fishing in his new boats, and aviation. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of fifty seven years, Mary Stell; one sister, Dorothy Fox; two brothers, Garland and Jack Stell and his in-laws, Floyd and Helen Sturdivant.

His memory will be cherished by his three children, Sherri Rice (Ricky) and Kim Salonek (Jeff), all of Crossett, AR and Bobby Stell (Kristi) of Perryville, MO; nine grandchildren, Phillip, Cortney, Anna, Aaron, Hunter, Kaygan, Karlyle, Kyndall and Bo; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Berryman (Ron) of Fountain Hill, AR; a host of nieces and nephews and his two puppies, Cocoa and Winston.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Thornhill officiating.  Interment is in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin one hour prior, at 2:00 P.M.
