Norman Eudell Bryant, age 94, passed away on October 20, 2021. He was born on January 6, 1927 in Center Ridge, Arkansas to Ona and Sylvia McCoy Bryant.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Crossett, and also served as deacon. He preached a few years in Dermott, AR. His greatest desire was seeing Jesus one day. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years during WWII. Norman worked for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill for thirty-seven years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially working with bird dogs. He loved the Razorbacks and watched all their games as well as all sports up until right before he passed. He enjoyed coaching Babe Ruth baseball and spending time with kids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 71 years, Margie Elizabeth McDougald Bryant and one brother, Arnold Bryant.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Bryant (Marty) of Prairieville, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Crystal Coulter (Kevin) and Trent Bryant (Lindsey); five great grandchildren; two sisters, Dale Starks and Sue Bucholtz and a host of friends and other family members.
Graveside services begin at 1:15 on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Pinewood Memorial Park with Bro. Jerry Martin officiating. Pallbearers are Dan Akin, Don Beckett, Joe Friend, Joshua Kennedy, Tommy Pahal and Tommy Pearson. Visitation is from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Jones Funeral Home just before the service.
