Mercille Buck Obituary
Mercille Strickland Buck, age 87, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on August 9, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1933 in Hampton, AR to her parents, Doyle and Mallo Blann Strickland. Mercille worked as a beautician for many years and was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband. Her favorite time was time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, B. J. Buck (2009); her father, Doyle Strickland; her mother, Mallo Blann Strickland; two brothers, Billy and Larry Strickland and one sister, Shirley Goodson.
She leaves behind two daughters, Gayla Mann (Larry) of Little Rock, AR and Staci Stich (Richard) of Hot Springs, AR; five grandchildren, Trevor Mann, Katy Mann, and Kelsey McClellan (Madison) all of Little Rock, AR, Jordan Stich of Crossett, AR and Bailey Stich of Fayetteville, AR; four great grandchildren, Wren McClellan, Jackson McClellan, Etta McClellan and Peyton Reed; three bonus grandchildren, Tracy Woolfley (Andrew), Fatima McKindra and Yulanda Harrison Lloyd; four bonus great grandchildren, Bailey Kelley, Chloe Kelley, Jackson Woolfley and Josie Woolfley.
The family will be having private services with a celebration of her life held at a later date for family and friends. Interment will be in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc.
