Marvin Wayne Willis

Marvin Wayne Willis, age 81 of Crossett, AR, passed away on February 6, 2023.  He was born on December 22, 1941 to Marvin Brown and Susie Sheffield Willis.  He served his country in the United States Air Force where he worked on Atlas Missiles.  While in the military, he met his wife, Betty Jane Willis and they married in Rough and Ready, CA.  He was a Boy Scout Leader, CB Operator and retired from Georgia Pacific where he worked as a Floral Printer.  He enjoyed model airplanes and wood carving.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Betty Jane Willis and one sister, Edith Mae Craig.

Survivors include his three children, Lucinda Jane Cummins and husband, John Houston, of Edna, TX, Elizabeth Marie Bull and husband, James, of Lowell, AR and Marvin Hollis Willis and wife, Lisa, of Brackettville, TX; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Buford Joe Willis and wife, Patricia, of Texarkana, AR along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11,2023 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment is in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Allen Willis, Ector Willis, Johnny Lesak, Dakota Murdie, Bobby Ramos and James Bull.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the chapel.
