Obituary
Marsha Richards Herrick, age 78 of Bigelow, AR passed away on January 31, 2022 from COVID. She was born on October 19, 1943 in Crossett to John and Marteal Richards. She enjoyed fishing and gathering crystals in her retirement years. She loved all sports.
Marsha was a recipient of a Crossett Company scholarship which she used to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree from University or Arkansas, Fayetteville. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
She had a long and successful career beginning as Director of Welfare for Ashley County and retired as Operations Manager for Child Support Enforcement for State of Arkansas in Little Rock. Always with great compassion, she was a champion for those in need.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and friend, Bill Holder and by her only beloved son, Chris Holder.
Survivors include, Steve Herrick; one sister, Charlotte Miller (Bobby); one brother, John G. Richards (Lynn), all of Crossett; one niece and three nephews, all whom she loved dearly. She also leaves a host of friends and cousins.
