Obituary
Marnell Marie Phillips Burchfield, 97, of Crossett, AR, passed away on July 5, 2023. She was born on December 12, 1925 in Cominta, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer B. Burchfield; a son, Billy B. Burchfield; and a daughter, Judy Burchfield Tucker.
Survivors are, son, Randall Burchfield (Tammy Burt ); three grandchildren, Chris Davis (Aaron), Bill Burchfield and Susan Burchfield; three great grandchildren, Brynn, Brett, and Bree Davis; and a special sister in law, Ruth Galbraith. She will also be greatly missed by a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her CNA’S and nurses at the The Nightingale in Crossett for their loving care of our precious mother, you will always be remembered. Many thanks to Hospice of Monticello and the staff of Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett for all of your wonderful love and care. Love and thanks also for her loving friend, Nancy Herault.
Visitation will be 1pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Crossett with a 2pm service to follow with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later time at Pinewood Memorial Park for immediate family, under direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc.
