Karla Joyce Miller

Karla Joyce Miller, age 58, of Crossett, AR, passed away on September 18, 2020.  She was born on August 23, 1962 in Farmerville, LA to her parents, John Henry Spells, Sr. and Adrienne Spells.  Karla enjoyed deer hunting, cooking, church activities and was a member of Sparkman Assembly of God.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Spells, Sr. and Adrienne Spells; her son, Jacob “Jake” Kevin Smiley; her step daughter, Rachell Chandler and her grandparents, Elmer Mayberry and Hattie and JM Spells.

 

She is survived by her husband of almost 7 years, Wendell Miller of Crossett, AR; two children, Brigette Cook (Brad) of El Dorado, AR and Mallory Smiley of Hot Springs, AR; her stepson, Keith Miller of Smackover, AR; four step grandchildren, Jayda and Alex Horton, both of Crossett, AR and Colin and Caleb Miller, both of Smackover, AR; her twin sister, Karen Little of Crossett, AR; one brother, John Henry Spells, Jr. of Crossett, AR.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00pm at Sparkman First Assembly in Sparkman, AR with visitation beginning one hour prior at the church, at 1:00pm.  Interment is in Crossroads Cemetery in Crossett, AR.
