Juventina Ely Obituary
Juventina "Tina" Ely (Benitez Caballero), 79, was born in Honduras on May 20, 1942. She passed on December 13, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR with her daughter at her bedside. Tina was a resident of Crossett for many years, she loved being outside surrounded by nature. She loved to be anywhere there was warm weather and loved shopping and traveling with her family for any occasion.
More than anything Tina loved her family and enjoyed cooking tamales each Christmas with her granddaughter. God was an important figure in her life as she thanked God each and everyday not only for blessings in her life, but in family and friends lives as well.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Ely (Crossett, AR), two sons Jesus Benitez, Oscar Benitez, a grandson Manfredo, and six siblings.
She is survived by 4 children, Rosa (Russ) Hornbeak, Doris (Frank) Erazo, Irma (Chris) Noguchi, Grant (Lauren) Ely; 16 grandchildren, Juan (Rikki) Galdamez, Kenia (Bo) Yelverton, Kristy (Matthew) Dillard, Jose (Silvia) Contreras, Brenda Contreras, Nadia Contreras, Henry Benitez, Lisseth Monge, Oscar (Amanda) Benitez, Jennifer Benitez, Julia (Julio) Camacho, Kate Ely, Conner Ely, Eden Ely, Tyler Noguchi, Brayden Noguchi, and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Balbina, and Mercedes.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday, December 17, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment is in Antioch Cemetery in Hamburg, AR. Pallbearers are Bo Yelverton, Juan Galdamez, Matt Dillard, Frank Erazo and Grant Ely, Jr. Honorary Pallbearer is Russ Hornbeak.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral, from 12:00PM until 1:00PM.
