Judy Lynn Head

Judy Lynn Head, age 69, of Junction City, AR, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 in West Monroe, LA.  She was born on February 12, 1951 in Crossett, AR to Homer and Mildred McAdams Jeffress.  She was a loving mother, wife and professional grandmother who always put everyone else’s needs before her own. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roney Mack Jeffress and an infant brother.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard E. Head; two sons, Joseph “Chris” Head (Melissa) and Jonathan Nathaniel Head (Donna), all of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Lacey Head Farrar (Brian) of Junction City, AR; ten grandchildren, Aubree Lynn and Michael Christian Head, Braedon Scott, Madalyn Grayce, Brianna Leighann, Brody Slade and Lily Rayne Farrar, Justin and Julia Head and Elizabeth Adams; one great grandchild, Moses Isaiah Adams, two brothers, Jimmy Lane and Harmon Gene Jeffress; three sisters, Rhonda Rouse, Dovie Ann Bussell and Tammy Bussell along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are 3:00pm on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Beech Street Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Donnie Dubose officiating.  Visitation is from 2:00pm until 3:00pm before the service.  Interment will be at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc.  Due to safety concerns with the ongoing road construction on Unity Road, the committal service will take place following the funeral service at the church.
