Obituary
Joyce Fran Wilcox was born on December 13, 1945 in Crossett, AR. She was a Crossett High School graduate. In her working years, she was employed at the Shirt Factory in Hamburg, Country Kettle and the Country Club. She was also a Certified Nurses Assistant.
She loved to fish and hunt as well as spending time with her family. She also enjoyed writing poetry. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was full of life and joy. She passed away on February 7, 2022 at Baptist Health in Little Rock at the age of 76.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Stanley; four brothers, Lincoln, James, Roland and Wayne Stanley; four sisters, Dorothy, Helen, Belle and Brenda-Sue and one daughter, Linda Kannard.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Glen Gordon Wilcox; her two sons, Danny Ferguson (Melinda) and Gordy Wilcox (Brandy); two daughters, Tori Braswell (Alex) and Penny Wilcox; one sister, Pauline Johnson; three brothers, Kenneth, Herman and Lowell Stanley; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and one on the way.
Celebration of Life Service is 2:00PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carlton White officiating. Interment is in Sims Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steven Cross, Steven Wilcox, William McIntosh, Payton Gammel and Ricky Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are James Martin and Caleb Wilcox.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, February 9th at Jones Funeral Home Chapel.
