Joyce Myers

Joyce Eloise Myers, age 91, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022.  She was born on August 10, 1930 in Hogansville, Georgia to Emmett and Christine Murphy Hethcox.  Joyce was loved by any person who met her.  She was a beautiful lady with a loving spirit.  Her family was the center of her affection.  She enjoyed interior decorating and making flower arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, John Jacob Myers; one son, John “Jerry” Myers; one brother, Jarrell Hethcox and sisters, Carol Titus and Katie Mae Cox.

Survivors include one son, Arthur Glenn Myers (Julia) of Hamburg, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Carson, Beau, Bobby and Charley Rainey; one brother, Larry Hethcox of Benton, AR; one sister, Gail Harris (Ronald) of Atlanta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. before the service.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Stonegate Villa and DaVita Kidney Care for all of the love that was mutually shared while Joyce was in their care.
