Josh Francis O'Connor

Josh Francis DesJarlais O’Connor, age 30, passed away on June 18, 2022.  He was born on March 16, 1992 in Jacksonville, AR to his mother, Jennifer McLean.  He was a 2010 graduate of Subiaco Academy.  At the time of his passing, he was serving his country on active duty as a Petty Officer 3^rd Class in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Bob Underwood, Frederick “Skip” Burt, Thomas and Clarice O’Connor; great grandparents, Allen and Lois Underwood and great uncles, Frank Rawls and Leslie “Buddy” Huff.

His memory will live forever in the hearts of his mother, Jennifer McLean of Newport News, VA; three half brothers, Matthew Burt and Gabriel Young, both of North Little Rock, AR and Tim Burt of Newport News, VA; three half sisters, Hannah Smith of Denver, CO, Laura Smith of Boston, MA and Carrie Young of Tacoma, WA; grandparents, Glee A. “Bunch” and Elizabeth Burt of Newport News, VA; great grandmother, Mary E. Burt of Crossett, AR; aunt, Amanda Ellis of Crossett,  AR; uncle, Thomas Burt of Two Rivers, WI; great aunts, Mary Rajek of Weston, WI, Beth Johnson of Aurora, IL, Kathy O’Connor of Seattle, WA and Connie O’Connor of Mantiowoc, WI; great uncles, Justin Burt of Crossett, AR and Dennis O’Connor of Maribel, WI along with numerous cousins.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Crossett, AR with Father Stephen Hart officiating.
