Jonathan William Vought

Jonathan William Vought, age 42, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019.  He was born on March 23, 1976 to Alonzo M. and Linda Kay Vought in El Dorado, AR.  Mr. Vought graduated Crossett High School in 1994 with honors.  He was a United States Navy Veteran who was assigned to the USS Harry S. Truman in England.  He spent six years in the U.S. Navy and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.   He had an Associate’s of Art in Liberal Arts, Bachelor’s of Art in Business Administration, and enjoyed shooting, computers and music.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dub and Helen Barrett and grandmother, Helen Baty.

Mr. Vought is survived by one daughter, Madison Nicole Vought of Sheridan, AR; his parents, Alonzo and Linda Kay Vought of Crossett, AR; one brother, Marc Vought (Becky) of Hamburg, AR; one sister, Julie Tillman (Ernie) of Lawson, AR and a host of other family members, loved ones and friends.

Funeral Services are 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Bodie Spicer officiating.  Visitation is at 1:00pm at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.  Interment is in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
