Jerald Mark “Jerry” Copeland, age 51, of Chidester, Arkansas died Monday, June 8, 2015 at his home.  He was born on August 20, 1963 in California to his parents, Marvin and Linda Sutherland Copeland.  Mr. Copeland was a part of the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army and was a Baptist.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and spending time with his family.   Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by his father; Marvin Copeland and a brother Jeff Copeland.

Survivors include his mother; Linda Copeland of Chidester, AR;  three daughters; Jennifer (Kelly) Gregory of Cabot, AR; Sheyanna  (Mike) Rowe of Crossett, AR; Melissa Copeland of Cabot, AR;  two brothers; John (Molly) Copeland of Stonewall, LA;  Jimmy(Carolyn) Copeland of Shreveport, LA; five grandchildren; Calei, Heath, Jayda, Max and Mason; also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow at Judson cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  www.jonesservice.com
