We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Jones Funeral Home, Inc.
BENTONVILLE - Jean Katherine Tarver went to Heaven on May 17th, 2022. She was born to James McKinley and Eunice Jeanette Tarver in Yancopin, Arkansas, on June 7th, 1930, with the family later residing in Crossett, AR, for several decades. Jean moved to Little Rock in 2006 and later to Bentonville in 2016. She is survived by her sister, Joyce (Tarver) McCasland of Bentonville, Arkansas, her nephew, Marty McCasland, his wife Leigh Ann, and their two girls, Anna Katherine and Allison (Ally) Jeanette, also of Bentonville, Arkansas; her brother, James Harold Tarver, of Leesville, Louisiana, and many other cousins and extended family.
There will be two services:
The first will be in Bentonville, at 1 pm on June 7th at Village on the Park, 3800 SW Mount Carmel Drive, Bentonville, AR. It will be informal with cake and refreshments, a few words from the family and others, and a chance for her Northwest Arkansas friends to pay respects and say goodbye
The second celebration and burial will start at 11 am, on June 9th, at Pinewood Memorial Park, State Highway 52 West, Crossett, Arkansas. Immediately following the burial, at about 12 noon, all will adjourn to the Country Vittles restaurant, 301 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas, to be our guests for a meal in Jean’s honor. We plan to just share stories and enjoy each other’s company while joyfully remembering Jean. If you cannot make the graveside service at 11a, please still come as our guest to the 12-noon meal. Also, feel free to extend this invitation to anyone you see fit.
