James Harvey Pigg, age 82, of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Crossett, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was born on August 20, 1939 in Portland, Oregon to George and Alma Pigg. He is a graduate of Park Rose High School. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.
He and his wife, LaNell were former owners of LaNell’s Restaurant in Crossett.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Orville Stickle.
Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, LaNell Woods Pigg; one son, Chris Pigg of Bentonville, AR; six nieces and nephews, Kerri Oliver, Angie Haynie, Heather Marabanian, Kasey Owens, Kristy Lockwood and Jimmy Woods; one brother-in-law, Larry Gowan; one sister-in-law, Sherry Cameron (Scott) of Crossett, AR along with his great nieces and nephews who called him “Grandpa”.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home with Bro. James Flemming officiating. Pallbearers are Jeff Marabanian, Heath Marabanian, Jimmy Woods, Trey Owens, Scott Cameron and Stan Haynie. Honorary Pallbearers are Blake Lockwood and Larry Gowan. Interment is in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 12:00PM at Jones Funeral Home.
