Fredia Burton Obituary
Fredia Ellen Harris Burton, age 79, of Crossett, AR passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Conway Baptist Medical Center while surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1942 in Crossett, AR to Eugene and Clara Harris. She was a lifelong teacher. She loved her family and her church family. She was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed sewing, writing, fishing and camping with her husband before he passed, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Fredia was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene F. and Clara Lochala Harris; her husband, of 40 years, Stanley Burton, Jr. and two brothers, Stuart Harris and James Harris.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Marla Swan McCandless and Crystal Burton Hogue (Mark), both of Crossett, AR; three sons, Mark Burton (Lorna) of Searcy, AR, Steve Burton (Kelly) and Tony Burton (Tina), both of Monticello, AR; seventeen grandchildren, Devan Swan, Sadie Cothron (Clayton), Michael McCandless (Brianna), Dakota Burton, Sianna Burton and Dallen Hogue, Katie Burton, Mason Burton, Isabella Burton, Garrison Burton, Mayah Burton, Whitney Maxwell, John Burton, Morgan Singleton, Erica Ivy, Alyssa Wallace and Ty Burton; nineteen great grandchildren along with a host of friends and other loved ones.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, AR on Thursday, March 11, 2021 with Bro. Scott Wheeler officiating. Pallbearers are Jeremy Mills, Chalin Willis, David Dickerson, Michael McCandless, Blake White and Brandon Reed.
A memorial service will held at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Grace Christian Fellowship.
