F.K. Bradshaw, Jr. (Foyce Kenneth) passed away on Jan. 19, 2021, just 12 days after his 84th birthday. Mr. Bradshaw was in Hospice Care and died peacefully in his sleep. He was born in 1937 and was preceded in death by his parents, Ettie and Foice Bradshaw and their infant daughter, Mary Margaret. He will join the family burial plot at Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Bradshaw was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy located in Columbia, Tennessee, where he attained the highest ranking available to cadets. He later attended the University of Alabama and UAM in Monticello.
In 1957, F.K. married and continued the legacy of his parents by farming in the South Arkansas area. He was one of the first farmers to include catfish as a crop.
During his family days, F.K. raised his children in the neighborhood called “The subdivision” in Hamburg, AR. He attended his oldest sons football games, walked his daughter when she was homecoming queen and watched the youngest play tennis. During the tornado of the late 1970’s, he got on a three wheeler to ride around town checking on grandparents and friends. F.K. lived out his later years in the farm house in Hamburg where he grew up as a child. He enjoyed grilling out and made some of the best hot tamales you ever tasted. He will be remembered for his great laugh and sense of humor.
Mr. Bradshaw leaves behind his three children, Ken Bradshaw and wife Beverly of Monticello, Deedra Bradshaw Berkemeyer of Hot Springs Village, Kirk Bradshaw of Little Rock / New York City and their mother, Donna Meyer Bradshaw-Robb. Four Grandchildren; Rebekah, Caitlyn, Bryce and Brent and four Great Grandchildren; Adalynne, Ashton, Sophie and Beau.
The family would like to thank the Somerset Senior Living staff in Crossett for his care during the last six months. In particular - Coco, Krista, Robin, and Kashika for working through the covid risk, keeping everyone safe and making his last days as comfortable as possible.
The family has chosen to have a private graveside memorial.
