Elizabeth Myers

Elizabeth Ann Jordan Myers, age 65 of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on August 27, 2020. She was born on October 5, 1954 in Crossett, Arkansas to her parents, Bert and Gertrude Jordan.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR, and an affiliated member of Crossett United Methodist Church.  Elizabeth was a 1972 graduate of Crossett High School, attended Southern State College in Magnolia, AR and worked as a third generation bookkeeper at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette for 19 years, following the footsteps of her great grandfather, Rudolph Langhammer and great aunt, Barbara L. Butcher.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert Jordan and Gertrude Langhammer Jordan.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving sister, Jo Jordan and husband, John Wilcox of Crossett, AR; two aunts, Pat Cummins of Ridgeland, MS and Jean Bynum of Clarksville, TN along with a host of cousins and friends.

 

Graveside service will be 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock, AR with Bro. Andy Connard officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM  on Tuesday, September 1st at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett.
