David Marvin Riles, age 79 of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on December 7, 2020. He was born on February 2, 1941 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Lonnie and Mattie Lee Riles. David retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and served as a deacon of Meridian Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, squirrel hunting, reading his Bible and prayer time. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Gary Riles and Michael Riles.
His memory will live forever in the hearts of his wife of 58 years, Janice Riles; three sons, Glenn Riles (Kathy), Rodney Riles (Anna) and Steven Riles (Amy), all of Crossett, AR; three brothers, Bobby Riles (Paula), Billy Riles (Rose) and Gayle Riles (Rose), all of Bastrop, LA; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Meridian Baptist Church in South Crossett with Bro. Garry Massey officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery followed by a thirty minute time of visitation. Pallbearers are Justin Riles, Jacob Riles, Bryson Battaglia, Blake Riles, Tyler Riles and Gus Lofton.
