Cathey Kelley Obituary
Cathey Marie Kelley, age 76 and lifelong resident of Crossett, AR, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. She was born on October 21, 1945 to W.D. and Myrtice Smith. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Crossett, AR. Before retirement, Cathey worked as a keypunch operator. Afterwards, she became a caregiver for elderly ladies.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching game shows and WWE. She crocheted blankets and enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books. She had a passion for all things Razorback and had her own “Razorback” bedroom.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Wesley and Deora Smith and Authur David and Mary Francis Smith and two brothers, W.M. Smith and Eddy Dean Smith.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband of eight years, Perry Kelley; one daughter, Pamela Lynn Cunningham (Bill) of Claremore, OK; one son, Stephen Douglas Brittain (Kendra) of Sapulpa, OK; one stepson, Michael Kelley of Crossett, AR; one sister, Bettye R. Hansche of Ramona, OK; one Aunt, Shirley Smith of Crossett, AR; Sister and Brother in laws, Grace Smith of Benton, AR, Mary Ray, Ann Jackson, Arlene Pilgrim (Jerry), Marilyn Jo Kelley, Louis Kelley (Linda), Jerry Kelley (Vivian) and Gerold Kelley (Pat); nine grandchildren, Cherish Darnell (Jake), Braden Morrison, Cody Trahan (Haley), Josh Cunningham (Shayla), Jordan Cunningham, all of Claremore, OK, Kyla Lynn Wagner (Mark) of Broken Arrow, OK, Tyler James Brittain of Tulsa, OK, Michael Kenneth and Nathanael David, both of Sapulpa, OK, Michelle Peterson (Casey), Caleb Kelley (Miranda), Josh Kelley (Emily), Angela New (Mackie), Kristie Kelley, Jessica Cooper (Hunter); nine great grandchildren, Ashton, Peyton, Lexington, Madelynn, Oliver, Charlott, Jonah, Alex, Gracie, Adalae, Zeke, Eleanor Peterson, Dawson, River, Kasley, Lennon, Eli, Josh Aryc Kelley, Blake Higginbotham, Brandon, Emma New, Ava, Amelia Cooper and Kai along with many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 11:00AM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill, AR with Bro. Kenneth Neal officiating. Pallbearers are Tyler Brittain, Steve Brittain, Bill Cunningham, Braden Morrison and Hunter Cooper.
