Carolyn Sue Harris

Carolyn Sue Anders Harris, age 71 and lifelong resident of Crossett, AR, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021.  She was born on November 11, 1949 to Everett Bell and Jacklin Fleming Anders.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.  Carolyn enjoyed fishing and spending time with Dickey, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Everett Bell Anders, Jr.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband of 42 years, Dickey Harris; three daughters, Jackie Sanders (Glenn) and Shelley Gillium (Jimmy Don, Jr.), both of Crossett, AR and Jessica Wooten (Nathan) of Hamburg, AR; five grandchildren, Hope Pennington (Alex), Britney Sanders, Jenna Harley Wooten, Nathan Wooten, Jr. (Dee) and Andrew Gillium; five great grandchildren, Brayden Pennington, Bentlee Rabb, Beau Wooten, Easton Gillium and Everleigh Wooten; two sisters, Peggy Kelley (Chester) and Pat Kelley (Gerald) along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Community Chapel Baptist Church in Crossett, AR at 2:00PM with Bro. Mike Chain and Bro. Glen Hutchinson officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Clint Fleming, Brad Burchfield, Jay Naff, Kyle Naff, Greg Kelley, Stephen Campbell, Leo Chandler and Kevin Cessor.  Honorary Pallbearers are her great grandsons.

A time of visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jones Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
