Bill Boyer, age 84 and lifelong resident of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on May 13, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1938 to Ted and Lella Burford Boyer. He was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from maintenance department at Georgia Pacific.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, JoAnn Bailey.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carlynne Boyer; two sons, Brett Boyer (Tammy) of Taft, TN and Brian Boyer (Lesslie) of Collierville, TN; Four grandsons, Jared Boyer of Oklahoma City, OK, Jordan Boyer (Becca) of Maddison, AL, Brice Boyer of Birmingham, AL and Davis Boyer of Collierville, TN; two great grandchildren, Barron and Brooklyn Boyer; three sisters, Bobbie Jean King (Billy) and Rose Surratt (John), both of Crossett, AR and Nancy Camp (Gary) of Pine Bluff, AR along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17th with Dr. David Newberry and Bro. Jamie Staley officiating. Interment is in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jared Boyer, Jordan Boyer, Brice Boyer, Davis Boyer, Mike Webb and John Surratt. Honorary pallbearers are Mike McDaniels, Royce Young, Ronnie Hopper, Gerry Rodgers, Frank Dolan, John Pennington and McDaniels Sunday School Class. A time of visitation will begin just before the service at 1:00 p.m.
