Barbara Nelle Allen

Barbara Nelle Allen, age 85 of Crossett, AR passed away on July 26, 2020.  She was born on March 23, 1935 to Robert L. and Mae Quincy Prohn Dean in Jonesboro, LA.  She was an ordained minister and enjoyed reading and writing in her prayer journal.  She was a loving mother and deeply devoted to her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joseph Keith Lockling; her second husband, Robert Freeman Allen; four brothers, Roy, Johnny, James and Dan Dean and one sister, Patsy Croswell.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mark Eugene Lockling (Carmen) of Crossett, AR and Stephen Edward Lockling (Brenda) of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren, Jeremy Hammett, Kristy Burton, Angelica Brodnax (Ryan), John-Mark Lockling and Stephen A. Lockling (Meryl); nine great grandchildren, Ashton, Landen and Bryson Brodnax, Olivia and Nora Lockling; Samarah and Davik Burton, and Charlotte Hammett; one brother, Jerry Dean (Pat) of Baton Rouge, LA.

A graveside memorial service will be held on August 8, 2020 at 10:00AM at Pinewood Memorial Park in Crossett, AR under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Ellis Lewis officiating.
