Aubrey James Blackwell, age 32, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born on October 6, 1988 in Las Cruces, NM. He attended Bauxite High School in Bauxite, Arkansas. Aubrey’s mother and Papaw enjoyed his football games as he played as #83 for the 2004 Bauxite Miners Football Team. He has lived in Pensacola, FL as well as Cleveland, OH. He spent many years as a first responder with LifeNet and with the Nash Fire Department. Aubrey loved to laugh and had a very funny sense of humor. He was proud to be part Irish. He showed it and celebrated it. He was such a great singer that he should have been recorded. He and his mom, who is a professional singer, often sang together. He had a true servant’s heart. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be terribly missed.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James A. Phillips and paternal grand-parents, James Blackwell and Lucille Henisa Myers and one brother, Joshua Blackwell.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Timothy Huel Blackwell of Brantley, AL and Tamara Phillips-James and Doyle Nordman of Hot Springs, AR; three daughters, Madison, Ashton and Rosaleigh Blackwell; His Granny, Donna Phillips of Benton, AR; two sisters, Ashley Nordman Medina of Hot Springs, AR and Leah Nordman Wilkerson of Langley, AR; three brothers, Jake Nordman, Brian Nordman and Matthew Nordman, all of Little Rock, AR; one niece, Winter Medina; two nephews, Henry Wilkerson and Isaac Medina along with a host of friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be at 9:00AM on Saturday, April 24 in the pavilion at 600 Proetz Lane in Nash, TX.
A Memorial Service will also take place at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 1:30PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the pavilion located at 7401 Hwy 5N., Alexander, AR 72002 with Rev. Harry Bush officiating.
