Allene Carter Obituary
Allene Myrtis Carter, 89, of Crossett, AR, passed away on October 12, 2023. She was born on February 10, 1934, to Bob L. Wallace and Susie L. Armstrong Wallace. She was a banker, and retired from First National Bank of Crossett. She enjoyed cross stitching, working in the yard and reading.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Rudolph Carter; and a granddaughter, Alicia Kay Liles, and 15 siblings.
Allene is survived by her children, a son, Tommy “Tom” R. Carter Jr. (Brenda) of Hot Springs, AR.; a daughter, Deborah K. Carter Ross of Crossett, AR.; four grandchildren, Noah Liles, Abigail Liles, Sophia Liles, and grandson in law Jonathan Liles, with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-7 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett, AR.
Services are 2PM, Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Grace Christian Fellowship in Crossett, AR., with Bro. Jeremy Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park in Hamburg, AR under direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc.
