Robert Earl Thomas

Robert Earl Thomas, age 83, of Crossett, AR, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018.  He was born on January 9, 1935 to Moses and Monte Thomas.  Robert retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill after 41 years of service.  He was a member of South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.  He had a big heart and was dearly loved.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Neva Pennington Thomas and his parents, Moses Morgan and Monte Patrick Thomas.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Thomas, Jr. and David Thomas; one daughter, Winnie Berry; one brother, RC Thomas; one sister, Paulene Peters, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren along with a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services are 11:00 AM on Monday, August 27, 2018 at South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don Justice and Bro. Joey Meredith officiating.  Pallbearers are Greg Kelley, Phillip Kelley,  Nathan Thomas, Brian Thomas, Brandon Morris, Zachary Thomas, Steven Terry and James Michael Watts.  Honorary Pallbearer is Chance Morris.  Interment is in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
