I just found out about Ms. Opal's passing. Very sweet and grand lady. She and my mother dined at the same table in the Landmark Nursing Home. I enjoyed her so much.
She was a caring and thoughtful person. Always asked about the well-being of others.
She will be sorely missed. Mother and I will cherish her memory. With our deepest sympathys, Jennifer Clark and Ms. Ebarb.

She was a sweet lady. I remember her always riding her bike and her hair always being in a bun. The last time I saw her I didn't even recognize her. We are sorry for your loss.

Roger, This is Ladane Rodgers, Opal's 1st cousin. Opal's mother Vedia and my mother Alice were sisters. Opal and I grew up together and spent many, many weekends together at our Grandfather Sheb Beasley's farm south of Warren. We were great playmates and with all our aunts/uncles were a very close family. The Korean War came, I went into the USAF, and have lived away from Arkansas since. Periodically I have visited Opal, Tiny, James Herbert, Nenda in Crossett. I have continued to correspond with Nenda since James passed. My wife Rhoda has had a stroke; we came home from the hospital last night. Thus we are unable to attend Opal's funeral. We send our condolences to you and your wife because I loved Opal and her family very much. Love/Prayers, Daniel Ladane and Rhoda Rodgers
