Nicole Lynn Rice

Nicole Lynn Rice, age 46, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018.  She was born on March 28, 1972.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett and a teacher at Crossett School District with a master’s degree in English Literature.  Nicole loved the beach, reading and spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Laron and Colen Burke.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Rice; two sons, BJ Rice (Darcy) of Fayetteville, AR and Jordan Rice of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Kelsey Abraugh (Randy) of Elkins, WV; four grandchildren; one brother, Britt Burke (Shawna) of Haughton, LA; a best friend who was like a sister to her, Rachel Gasaway and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Funeral Services are 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Bobby Pennington officiating.  Pallbearers are Randall Meeks, Pete Meeks, Taylor Meeks, Zach Meeks, James Gilmore and Earl Carter.  Honorary Pallbearers are Chase Meeks, Phillip Jones, Andy Rials, Lane Wesson and the former and current teachers of Crossett Middle School.  Interment is in Crossroads Cemetery.   Visitation will be from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
