Mattie Frances Deal, age 88, of Camden, AR passed away on January 23, 2017 at Life Care Hospitals of Shreveport, LA.  She was born on April 9, 1928 in Crossett, AR to her parents, Andrew Jackson "Jack" and Jewel Mae Maxwell Fleming.  Mattie had been a cook for the State of AR Police Academy where she influenced many inmates.  She was also a shining, Christian example to all her family and friends. For the last five years Mrs. Deal attended Cross Life Church in El Dorado, AR where she had many friends.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Phillip Randall Deal; a son, Phillip G. Deal; three sister, Norma Jean Fleming, Verda Mae Jenkins, Jacklin Redell Anders and four great grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Randie Deal (LaDene) of Boyce, LA, Ronnie Deal (Vickie) of Little Rock, AR, Danny Deal (Donna) and Michael Deal, all of Camden, AR; one daughter, Francine Waller of Junction City, AR; daughter-in-law Vickie Bradford Deal of El Dorado, AR; ; one brother, Donnie Fleming (Brenda) of Hamburg, AR; one sister, Glenda Ann Henderson (J.C.) of Hamburg, AR; thirteen grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Cross Life Church, 1010 W. Combs St., El Dorado, AR with Pastor Dwain Miller officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
