Lora Greene Newhouser

Lora Greene Newhouser, age 53, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Ashley County Medical Center.  Lora was born on May 21, 1965 in Columbus, OH to her parents, Donald and Lucille Greene.  She was a member of Pine Street Church of Christ in Crossett, AR and filled many roles in her work at The Pillars.  Lora loved spending time with her grandchildren and was known for always caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Greene; one sister, Lynn Pippen and one nephew, Michael Joseph Pippen.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Richard Newhouser; her mother, Lucille Davis Greene; two sons, Kasey Newhouser (Jamie) and Trent Newhouser; one brother, Mike Greene (Pattie); two sisters, LaDonna Willis (Mike) and Belinda Curran; six grandchildren, Rozalynn and Elainna Newhouser, Katie and Ty Duncan, Joie Pippen and Kamryn Guin; a special family member, Lacey Guin and a host of other friends.

Funeral services are 3:00PM on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Pine Street Church of Christ in Crossett, AR with Bro. Jerry Martin officiating.  Visitation will be at 2:00PM, one hour prior to the funeral.  Pallbearers are Josh Chanbless, Marshal Gammel, Kevin Stroud, Trent Newhouser, Kasey Newhouser and Bryan Pippen.  Interment is in Carlock Cemetery in Hamburg, AR under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc.
