Gayle Lavonne Strebeck

Gayle Lavonne Strebeck, age 73, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in El Dorado, AR.  She was born on January 10, 1946 to Ernest and Atha Lee Goleman Humphrey.  Gayle loved her Lord and Savior.  She was a member of First Church of God in Crossett.   She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and planting flowers in the yard with her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Darrel Humphrey; sister, Kay Gannon; son in law, Cpl. Jeff Hust; great nephew, Jett Harbinson Moffatt; father in law, Sam Strebeck and mother in law, Eunice Strebeck.  

Mrs. Strebeck is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tommy Strebeck; son, Barry Strebeck (Tiffany) of Hamburg, AR; daughter, Shelbi Hust of Three Creeks, AR; sisters, Rita “Recie “Grider of Crossett, AR and Sandi Cox of Baton Rouge, LA; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Strebeck and fiancé, Logan Barner, Samantha Gayle Strebeck, Corey Hurst (Amy), Charlotte Brown (Andy), Scarlotte Hust, Chad Courson (Sara), Laura Grider Handly (Craig) and Randi Grider Moffatt (Josh); ten great grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Caleb, Nathan, Gracie, Bo, Grayson, Cole, Mac, Reese and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service for Gayle Strebeck will be held at 2:00pm at First Church of God in Crossett, AR on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 with Pastor Will Hughes, Scott Wheeler and Bro. Mike Neal officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
