Everett Bell Anders, Sr., age 89, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019. He was born on November 1, 1929 in Parkdale, AR to William Napollean and Bertie LaTenor Cartilage Anders. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Everett was known for his homemade fishing lures. He used every opportunity to give them to others, sharing his passion for crafting them. He loved his family and was dearly loved by them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Jacklin Redell Anders and a daughter in law, Sharon Anders.
Mr. Anders is survived by one son, Everett Bell Anders, Jr.; three daughters, Carolyn Harris (Dickie), Peggy Jean Kelley (Chester) and Pat Kelley (Gerald); one grandson, Everett Gleenn Kelley (Amanda); seven granddaughters, Jackie Sanders (Glenn), Shelley Gillium (Jimmy), Jessica Wooten (Nathan), Amy Henderson (Steven), Jennifer Pruitt (Ricky), Ashley Smith, all of Crossett, AR and LaTina Redell Hentsey (Billy) of Russellville, AR; twelve great grandchildren, Hope, Britney, Jenna, Nate, Andrew, Gunner, Gage, Gavin, Allison, Graylan, Kady and Zanden; five great-great grandchildren, Brayden, Bentlee, Beau, Luke and Easton and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services are Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00am at Community Chapel Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Mike Chain officiating. Pallbearers are Gale Anders, Clint Fleming, Nate Wooten, Gunner O’Fallon, Andrew Gillium, Gavin Smith, Drew Fleming and Gage Henderson. Honorary pallbearers are his great and great-great grandchildren. Interment is in Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation is Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.
