Dale Howard Summerford

Dale Howard Summerford, age 59, of Crossett, AR, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 5, 2019.  He loved his family dearly and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Dale was a great cook and even better at eating.  He lived life to the fullest and was fully engaged in it.  He loved his job as a chemical engineer at Georgia Pacific.  He was the “go-to” person at the mill, a problem solver and traveled internationally with the company.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Allison Summerford.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angela Morris Summerford; one son, Ben Summerford; two daughters, Nancy Summerford and Sarah Summerford (Eric); his father, James Summerford; one brother, Al Summerford (Kay); two sisters, Lou Ann Howard (Bill) and Teresa Willard (David); four grandchildren, Kaylee, Alice, Aiden and Evie, and a host of friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at Jones Funeral Home, Inc., of Crossett, AR, at 3:00pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, with Bro. Donnie Dubose officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
