About Us

Jones Funeral Home has been serving the people of Crossett and surrounding communities for generations since its establishment in 1927. Currently, the funeral home is owned by the Jones family, who continues the family commitment to holding the highest standard of service offered to all families - with dignity, distinction, and respect.

History of Jones Funeral Home

In 1927, the funeral home was established by Murphy Jones in Hamburg, Arkansas. In 1941, following in his father's footsteps, Richard S. Jones, Sr. established Jones Funeral Home and Jones Flower Shop in Crossett, Arkansas.  He, his son, Richard "Dickie" Jones, Jr. and his grandson, Richard S. "Rick" Jones III, continued to serve the people of Ashley County until their deaths in 1977, 1988 and 2011 respectively.  For five generations, the Jones family has based its reputation on true concern.

Jones Service will continue the tradition that began over 84 years ago -

Service with Dignity, Distinction, and Respect.
