Alice Galbraith Williams

Alice Galbraith Williams, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1929, at Calion, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dick Williams; parents, Jess and Hazel Galbraith; brothers, Bill Galbraith and Jesse B. Galbraith; and son-in-law, Robert M. Jenkins.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed sports, traveling, and gardening. Alice was a long-time active member of the First United Methodist Church having served on many committees of the Church. She taught a couple’s class for many years and was active in the United Methodist Women organization.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Lynne Jenkins; son, Richard Williams and wife, Becky; granddaughters, Emily Smith (Scott), Maddie Boyles (Landon); great-grandsons, Gray and Mac Wooley; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 Main St., Crossett, AR 71635.

A Graveside Service and Memorial Service will be held in Crossett, Arkansas under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. at a later date.
