Wilbur Benton Seamans, age 83, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Ashley County Medical Center.  He was born on April 29, 1933 to his parents, Curtis Benton and Georgia Agatha Farmer Seamans.  Mr. Seamans was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War.  He retired as a computer technician for NCR after 30 years of service.  Wilbur was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church and loved to hunt.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce Ann Walker Seamans; a brother, Jack Seamans; a sister, LaDelle Burleson and a great grandson, Travis Benton Seamans Gammill.

Survivors include four daughters, Sheila Herron (Wayne) of Crossett, AR; Sandy Gammill (Keith) of Lafayette, LA; Sheri Smith of Crossett, AR; Sonia Sticker (Ed) of Madison, MS; eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Ben Sticker and Bro. Carlton White officiating.   Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Active pallbearers will be Damion Herron, Rusty Gammill, Keith Gammill, Jr., Chris Smith, Ryan Sticker and Charles Cone, Jr.
