Virginia “Ginger”  Reibe Weems, age 69, of Crossett, AR passed away on July 22, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on June 4, 1947 in El Dorado, AR to her parents, Forrest Willard and Frances Edith Osborne Reibe.  Mrs. Weems was a Pastor of Transition Ministries International and a member of the The Upper Room Church of Bastrop, LA.  She was very involved with mission work and loved giving to everyone.  Mrs. Weems was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene Weems.

Survivors include one daughter, Shelley Anderson Odom (William Stacy) of Grayson, LA; one step-son, Paul Weems (Mardi) of Crossett, AR; one step-daughter, Tana Karnes (Ray) of Bossier City, LA; one brother, Jerry Reibe (Alva) of El Dorado, AR; eight grandchildren, Taylor Travis, Hannah Travis, Jordan Payne, Candace Guice, Tolland Weems, Josh Salley, Holly Rogillio, Kayla Williams; six great-grandchildren, Tenley, Raelynn, Lynlee, Landry, Carsyn, Allisyn and a special friend, Cathy Howie.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Akers, Pastor Justin Akers and Darlene Akers officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
