Samuel Eugene McCay, age 89, of Crossett, AR passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA.  He was born on January 20, 1926 in Green Hill, AR to his parents, Robert F. and Ethel Walton McCay.  Mr. McCay was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from Georgia Pacific serving in Quality Control.  He enjoyed fishing and going to the beach with family on vacations.  Mr. McCay was a Charter Member of the Presbyterian Church of Crossett.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Betty McCay of Crossett, AR; two sons, Scotty (Judy) McCay, Andy McCay, all of Crossett, AR; two brothers, George McCay of Crossett, AR, David McCay of Colorado; one sister, Mary Frances Terrell of North Little Rock, AR; four grandchildren, Angie Bass, Kelly Dumas, Caitlin McCay, Joshua McCay and three great-grandchildren, Sydney Dumas, Ashleigh Letterman and Austin Letterman.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Toby Austin officiating under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
