Robert F. Malloy, age 95, of Crossett, AR passed away on July 23, 2015 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehab.  He was born to his parents, Thomas J. and Anna Kate Carter Malloy on January 7, 1920 in Crossett, AR. 

Mr. Malloy was a 1937 graduate of Crossett High School and retired after 45 years of service from Georgia Pacific Paper where he was Superintendent of Finishing and Shipping of No. 1 and No. 2 Mills.  He was an Air Force veteran, having served in the European and North African theater during World War II for over three years.  Mr. Malloy was awarded three campaign ribbons and the bronze star medal during this tenure.

Mr. Malloy was a deacon in First Baptist Church of Crossett where he taught Sunday school and served on many committees.  He was a former member and past president of Crossett Kiwanis Club.

Since childhood he was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.  He raised his children in the environment with many vacations spent camping and fishing.  After retirement, gardening and furniture building were his favorite past times.

Mr. Malloy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vivian Malloy; one sister, Muriel Malloy and a grandson, Robert Matthew Malloy.

His survivors include two sons, Robert Michael Malloy (Betty) of Heber Springs, AR, Mark Jefferson Malloy (Morie) of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Melissa Wyatt (Joe) of Zachary, LA; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Family will receive friends and visitors on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist MMC Building, 703 Pine, Crossett, AR  71635.
